College Park Students for a Democratic Society

SDS is an education and social action organization dedicated to increasing democracy in all phases of our common life. It seeks to promote the active participation of young people in the formation of a movement to build a society free from poverty, ignorance, war, exploitation, racism, sexism, classism, homophobia, and environmental destruction.

College Park SDS is a student and youth group dedicated to organizing around eliminating oppressive and hierarchical structures in our community and in the world at large, and making connections between issues like war and capitalism, imperialism and climate change, racism and economic inequality.
